The term tab was originally taken from the IBuySpy portal sample that exposed the pages on a tab-like interface accross the top of the site.  Tabs are synonymous with pages and the term pages should be restored as it is understood universally by all web developers.  Pages encompass all content and features of a specific URL within a site.
